SSMMA’s Millennium Reserve story map

Important Message: Attention Atlas Users:
Every day around 3:00 PM certain services may not work within the web mapping application temporarily because we have to manually sync up edits made in the feature classes with the permenant geodatabase. When we do this, we have to temporarily shut off the data services. The outage should only occur for around 15 minutes. We apologize for the inconvienence Sincerely, ~ South Suburban Atlas Staff

The South Suburban Atlas GIS Consortium is an initiative of the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association. The initial development of the web mapping application was covered through a HUD Sustainable Community Challenge Grant awarded to the Green TIME Zone Economic Development Strategy which the SSMMA is implementing. The primary objective of South Suburban Atlas is to provide efficient, innovative, and quality GIS services to the south suburban region at an affordable price. The South Suburban Atlas GIS Consortium is governed by a steering committee that meets once a month. The web mapping application is hosted on the Cook County environment. The total cost covers staffing and covering the cost of environment operation. We wish to thank all of our partners without whom the South Suburban Atlas would not be possible.
