For the first time in their 38 years in the racing business, our longtime associate member, the Lanco Group of Companies (including Mi-Jack, located in Hazel Crest and Harvey), along with RLL Racing partners and teammate Takuma Sato , won the Indianapolis 500 on August 23. Congratulations!!!

RLL or Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing is co-owned by three-time IndyCar Champion and 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal, former Late Show host David Letterman and Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan and is based in Hilliard, Ohio and Brownsburg, Indiana. See the Indy 500 story: Sato makes good on delivering ‘500’ victory to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

According to their website, Lanco is a diverse group of companies specializing in many disciplines: from heavy equipment manufacturing to sales and service; from facility operations to event promotions; and from integrated technologies to equipment distribution. The Lanco Group of Companies is owned by Michael Lanigan and his brothers: John (Jack Junior), Bill and Dan. It was started in 1954 by John Lanigan, Sr. from his home in a south suburb of Chicago. He passed away in December 2018.
