ComEd offers incentives and services for distressed communities

ComEd held a Dec. 12 workshop at SSMMA to share information about their Incentives and Services for Distressed Communities. Public buildings located in distressed communities may qualify to receive free lighting kits and highly incentivized HVAC upgrades from the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program.

Through this offering, ComEd provides lighting kits at no charge to qualified public sector entities. They also work with Energy Efficiency Service Providers to provide incentives that can cover up to 100% of project costs for the implementation of money-saving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning improvements for buildings that qualify. The incentive is determined by the amount of energy saved – the more saved, the greater the incentive. Your public sector facility may be eligible for FREE energy-efficient lighting kits and incentives that can cover up to 100% of the cost of HVAC upgrades. Read more or see the presentation slides. For more information or to find out if your building qualifies,  please contact Taylor White, Distressed Communities Outreach, at Taylor@360eg.com or Anthena Gore, Distressed Communities Outreach at Anthena.Gore@ElevateEnergy.org.
