Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DOTH) seeks input on Pulaski Road Study


Please share with your communities: Cook County DOTH seeks comments on Pulaski Road Study! The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DOTH) has initiated the Pulaski Road Phase I Study. Extending from 159th Street to 127th Street, this study will evaluate future transportation needs along the corridor and recommend various improvements to the transportation infrastructure. This includes the replacement of the bridge over the Cal Sag Channel, roadway improvements, and enhancing pedestrian/bicycle accommodations.

The study will develop proposed improvements based on stakeholders’ input and examine the impacts that the proposed improvements will have on the community and the environment. The Pulaski Road Study will review potential improvements on Pulaski Road and Crawford Avenue from 159th Street to 127th Street. This corridor extends through the following communities:

  1. Village of Alsip

  2. Village of Crestwood

  3. Village of Robbins

  4. Village of Midlothian

  5. City of Markham
