Request for Pricing Cook County Land Bank Authority seeks opportunities to partner with for-profit and non-profit vendors to deliver various services related to the management of properties under the care and control of CCLBA. Employment Opportunities Planning Analyst Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Planning Analyst of the Cook County Land Bank Authority is responsible for collecting, organizing, inputting and analyzing data used by the CCLBA to make strategic decisions regarding acquisition and disposition of property. Prepares, develops, and implements analyses of internal and external data to identify, evaluate and make inferences on trends within the CCLBA property portfolio, broader housing market or communities where CCLBA is active. Responsible for the maintenance, performance tuning, monitoring and upgrades of database systems. Collaborates with external vendors to ensure optimal performance and high availability of Property Inventory Management System. Develops and maintains standards and compliance guidelines for the implementation of processes, procedures and databases to ensure only productive, efficient applications are deployed. Provides after-hours support to resolve production problems, acting as a point of contact for database related technical support. Establishes protocols for external users of CCLBA data to ensure that organizational data is maintained safely and securely, while providing appropriate access to the database. Construction Manager Under the general direction of the Senior Acquisitions Manager, the Construction Manager of the Cook County Land Bank Authority coordinates, directs and controls all site construction activities. Performs physical assessments, prepares cost estimates, assists in developing plans and specifications and conducts inspections to monitor contractors’ compliance with plans, specifications, codes, wage requirements and workmanship standards. Collaborates with owners and occupants throughout the rehabilitative process. Performs other duties as assigned. Deadline to apply: July 8, 2014, 11:59 PM.
