Cook County has established a partnership to openly discuss the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and its distribution of funding across the County, City of Chicago and the State of Illinois, along with grant opportunities for violence prevention through our Justice Advisory Council (JAC) as well as the Bureau of Economic Development.
There will be a series of conversations that residents will have an opportunity to hear and learn more about how these funds are being distributed next week. There will be a series of 3 virtual regional townhalls to register and attend beginning on Tuesday, April 26th, Thursday, April 28th and Tuesday, May 3rd, starting at 5:30 pm.
