The Center for Neighborhood Technology is seeking an experienced and qualified outreach associate to join the RainReady team. RainReady (link is external) helps people and communities manage flooding in a time of climate change.
This position is initially focused on RainReady Community planning in the south and west suburbs of Cook County to reduce urban flooding.
RainReady Community is a first-of-its-kind community planning program for neighborhoods and municipalities affected by flooding. We work with partner organizations, residents, and businesses to understand risks and find solutions. We prioritize green solutions that bring broader benefits to communities, such as jobs, recreation and nature conservation.
The RainReady Outreach Associate will design and implement outreach plans in support of the RainReady Community program.
