FEMA seeks public comment on Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Program

FEMA opened the public comment period for the BRIC Program (Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities), that will be replacing their Pre-Disaster Mitigation Program. The new program would allow FEMA to set aside 6 percent of estimated disaster expenses for each major disaster to fund a mitigation grant program to assist states and local governments. Please see attached for more details and provide comments by May 11th. Comments must be identified by docket ID FEMA-2019-0018 and may be submitted by one of the following methods:
