Illinois Film Office of DCEO offers unique opportunities for filming in your communities

SSMMA

From the

Film Office of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity

Illinois is home to a thriving film industry with a nationally renowned crew base, actors, and industry vendors.  Illinois offers a robust and sustainable 30% Film Tax Credit and is the only U.S. state to have a diversity provision as part of its tax credit.

There are unique opportunities available for filming television, movies, or commercials in your community. The Film Office helps find Illinois set locations, crews and actors for the film industry. $499 million was spent in Illinois last year alone, up 51 percent from the previous year.  Contact them for assistance on locationshousing, and tax credits to help make your community part of a filmed creative endeavor.

Illinois Film Office 100 W. Randolph, 3rd floor Chicago, IL 60601 Phone: 312-814-3600 Film@illinois.gov
