Village President Gene Williams said Tuesday he hopes to pay a proper tribute to the Jackie Robinson West Little League baseball team of Chicago that represented Illinois and ultimately, the United States in the recently-completed Little League World Series.
One of the players on that team is Eddie King, Jr., an outfielder who lives with his parents in the south suburban community.
