Metropolitan Mayors Caucus requests proposals for Public Sector Energy Efficiency Program


The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus Public Sector Energy Efficiency Program (PSEE) provides funding and technical assistance to help local governments update and retrofit public facilities and/or streetlights to improve energy efficiency and save money. Municipalities, park districts, libraries, schools, townships, and other local governments throughout the ComEd®, Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas services areas are invited to participate. This program, formerly offered in partnership with Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, is now offered in partnership with ComEd, Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas through December 31, 2017.

Deadlines: November 1, 2017 — Standard Deadline to submit Project Proposal Form. December 31, 2017 – Work for all projects must be completed.

Eligibility All public sector entities in northeastern Illinois which receive service from Illinois utilities (ComEd, Peoples Gas, North Shore Gas and Nicor Gas) are eligible to apply for this program, including municipalities, townships, counties, park districts, libraries, schools, community colleges, and more.
