Nature of Work

The Public Works Assistant Director is an administrative position that is under direction of the Director of Public Works. The Public Works Assistant Director primary focus is on construction engineering in both the public Works Department and the Building. Secondary duties include assisting in department operations and project development; provides supervises personnel performing design/inspection and surveying. The position is appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council.
