Orland Square Mall unveils new S.T.E.A.M. play area

Orland Square Mall has opened a new children’s play area that’s about more than just play.

The revamped play area on the Orland Park mall’s lower level now has an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Designed by Agency 808, the play area outside the interior lower-level entrance to JC Penney and near the mall’s carousel is “much more interactive than our previous play area,” according to Cathy Mein, the mall’s director of marketing and business development…Please click here for Mike Nolan’s story in the Tribune/Daily Southtown.
