Ford Announces Factory Order Cut Off Date on 2020 Utility Police Interceptor Ford Motor Company has announced that the current SPC Ford Interceptor Utility Police Package (Contract #152) is available for orders through September 21, 2018, with production running through February or March of 2019, subject to demand. Ford also announced that, beginning with the 2020 model year, they are changing the vehicle to a hybrid system. Production on the 2020 vehicles is estimated to begin in April, 2019. NWMC July 24 Summer Surplus Vehicle & Equipment Auction Reminder It’s time to line up your municipality’s surplus vehicles and equipment for sale at the July 24 NWMC Surplus Vehicle and Equipment Auction at America’s Auto Auction in Crestwood. America’s AA offers a variety of additional services to maximize resale value along with reasonable rates to transport your vehicles and equipment to the auction site. So far, we have 40 vehicles scheduled for sale from Country Club Hills, Deerfield, Elburn Evanston, Glencoe, Highland Park and North Aurora.
If you can’t make the July event, the next live auction date for 2018 is Tuesday, October 23. The NWMC agreement with America’s Auto Auction also provides for year-round Internet sales, so participants do not have to wait for one of the live sales in order to dispose of surplus vehicles and equipment.
