While many municipalities are sending a message to Springfield opposing new Gov. Bruce Rauner’s proposal to cut in half local governments’ share of state income tax revenue, Will County officials have agreed to wait.
Under the proposal, the county could lose $5.1 million, finance director Karen Hennessy told the board’s legislative committee Tuesday.
