Calling it a bipartisan compromise, Will County officials laid out a $225 million financing plan for their largest and most expensive building projects ever.
Just a month ago, Democrats were at odds with the Republican-controlled county board over how best to finance a new sheriff’s facility, new courthouse, a satellite courthouse and a new Health Department facility, but in recent weeks they have come together and agreed to a 30-year plan, using revenue from several sources.
